It's That Easy

To say Ok or That's ok, the Italians say

Va bene va bay-nay

Bene means well and va means it goes, so va bene literally translated, means it goes well or as we would say, ok.

You can say sorry two ways in Italian. The first is used if you bump into someone, want to get by, didn't understand someone or when using a mild sorry

Mi scusi me scoos-ee

Me is me and scusi is excuse, so mi scusi is translated as me excuse or as we would say excuse me. In addition you can just use the word scusi.

The second way to say sorry is used when you really are very sorry

Mi dispiace me dis-pee-arch-ay

Mi is me and dispiace is to displeasure, so you are actually saying me it displeasures or as we would say I am very sorry

The word for man is

Signore see-nuor-ray

The word for woman is

Signora see-nuor-ra

To say See you soon, the Italians say

A presto a presto

A means at and presto means soon, so a presto literally translated, means at soon or as we would say, see you soon.

To say See you tomorrow the Italians say

A domani a do-man-ee

A means at and domani means tomorrow, so A domani literally translated, means at tomorrow or as we would say see you tomorrow.
